AIS-140 has been mandated by Government of India’s notification. As per AIS-140 regulation, all new as well as existing on-road commercial vehicles, must be equipped with a telematics device and emergency button for safety of passengers and better traffic control.

Accolade electronics private limited (AEPL), launches ACON-ITS, an ARAI certified AIS-140 device, an intelligent transport system for safety and security of passengers travelling by commercial vehicles, like radio cabs and buses. As per ARAI, Accolade Electronics, is one of the top two companies, across India to get AIS-140 certification. ACON-ITS device adhering to AIS-140 has also cleared all the desired hardware and software certifications required by automotive OEMs.
