What began as an electronics design and engineering house is today a strategic technology partner to global automotive OEMs. This is how that journey unfolded.
Before automotive, Accolade mastered industrial electronics, IIoT, healthcare, and telecom. This cross-domain experience built our core strengths: healthcare-grade precision, telecom reliability, and scalable IIoT connectivity, creating the foundation for everything that followed.
When Tata Motors needed to localize automotive electronics, Accolade’s engineering depth provided the solution. Starting with DC-DC converters in 2016 and AIS-140 telematics in 2018, we evolved through every connectivity generation from 2G to NTN, building India’s most comprehensive telematics portfolio.
Accolade 2.0 marks our transition from India’s telematics leader to a global OEM technology partner. Powered by 500+ professionals, 137 R&D engineers, an IATF 16949-certified facility, and expertise across 5 core technology domains, built in Pune, engineered for the world.

Co-Founder & Managing Director
Deepak Jagdale founded Accolade Electronics in Pune in 2002, not as a startup chasing a market, but as a conviction that Indian engineers could design and build world-class electronics on their own terms.
Before Accolade reached automotive, Deepak led the company through two decades of industrial, healthcare, and telecom engineering, building the technical depth and operational discipline that would later make Accolade the partner Tata Motors chose when they needed a credible Indian electronics supplier for localisation.
That relationship changed everything. Under Deepak’s leadership, Accolade made the deliberate move from general-purpose electronics to focused automotive engineering, entering power electronics in 2016, building AIS-140 telematics expertise from 2018, and advancing through every connectivity generation from 2G to NTN.
Today, Accolade serves Tata Motors, Ashok Leyland, Swaraj, and Mahindra, with a 500+ professional organisation, 137 R&D engineers, and a manufacturing facility certified to IATF 16949:2016 standards. The 2024 transition to Accolade 2.0, Deepak’s vision of a global OEM technology partner built from an Indian engineering foundation, is not a pivot. It is the logical next step of a 24-year journey.

Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Sandeep Waykole leads Accolade Electronics at a defining moment for Indian mobility. His conviction is simple: the intelligence inside a vehicle will decide its value, and India can build that intelligence for the world. Under his leadership, Accolade is scaling from a trusted Tier-1 supplier into a technology partner shaping how vehicles connect, sense, and serve the people who depend on them.
He brings over 26 years of global automotive leadership across Faurecia (FORVIA), Magna International, and Tata AutoComp Systems, spanning embedded electronics, seating systems, and interiors. As India Business Director at Faurecia Clarion Electronics, and earlier as Country General Manager of Faurecia Seating India and Programs Director of Faurecia Interior Systems, he carried full P&L and program responsibility, delivering complex engineering programmes for the world’s leading carmakers.
At Accolade, he is directing that experience toward a clear agenda: modular, intelligent product platforms for global OEMs, sustainability engineered into every stage of design and manufacturing, and Indian innovation competing on performance in every market it enters. In his words, “This is a moment to scale ideas into impact.”
Dr. Waykole holds a Ph.D. from MIT ADT University, a degree in Polymer Engineering, an MBA in Logistics and Materials, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Foreign Trade from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
