Accolade operates as both a direct OEM supplier and a Tier-1 technology partner, depending on programme structure. We work directly with vehicle manufacturers on product development, supply, and integration — and with Tier-1 suppliers where our products form part of a larger system. The engagement model is shaped by the customer's programme requirements, not a fixed commercial structure.
Accolade's manufacturing facility is certified to IATF 16949:2016 and ISO 9001:2015, the global standards for automotive quality management systems. Our telematics products are AIS-140 certified, compliant with India's government-mandated vehicle tracking standard. Products are validated through MIL, SIL, and HIL testing processes at our in-house test labs in Pune.
Yes. Co-development is a core part of how we work with OEM partners. Accolade's R&D and engineering teams engage from the concept and POC stage — covering E/E architecture, hardware design, firmware development, system integration, and validation. We have experience across the full product lifecycle development, from initial specification to production-ready hardware.
Our manufacturing plant in Pune operates at 1,00,000 units per month across three shifts, with a scalable setup designed to grow with OEM programme volumes. The facility includes a 40,000 sq. ft. plant, a 20,000 sq. ft. ISO 8 cleanroom, 24 fully automated production lines, in-house EMS, and dedicated SMT lines, all certified to IATF 16949:2016.
Accolade has a dedicated 50+ member after-sales team providing region-wise, on-site debugging and round-the-clock support across India. Our after-sales model is structured to minimise fleet downtime, with both online and offline response channels and support centres across Pan-India locations covering 26+ AIS-140 empanelled states.
Yes. Accolade's telematics products including SamparkSync are AIS-140 certified and empanelled across 26+ states in India. Our telematics hardware meets all requirements under the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways' vehicle tracking mandate, including GPS/GNSS accuracy, data transmission to designated servers, tamper protection, and backup battery continuity.
Our telematics products support 2G, 3G, 4G, and LTE CAT1 connectivity with 5G-ready upgrade paths. Communication protocols supported include TCP, MQTT, HTTPS, and FTP. GNSS positioning draws from six constellations, IRNS, GPS, BEIDOU, Galileo, GLONASS, and QZSS, for continuous, uninterrupted location accuracy across all terrain and network conditions.
Yes. Accolade products are designed for OEM platform integration from the ground up. Our telematics hardware supports CAN 2.0 and CAN-FD interfaces, standard automotive connectors, and widely used communication protocols, making integration with existing fleet management platforms, OEM cloud systems, and third-party telematics software straightforward. We provide integration documentation and dedicated technical support throughout the process.
Accolade is headquartered in Pune, Maharashtra, with three dedicated technology centres in the city. The Advanced Engineering Centre in Baner covers E/E architecture and systems engineering. The R&D Centre in Shivne houses advanced systems engineering, a cybersecurity incubation lab, and test and simulation facilities. The Incubation and Innovation Centre in Kothrud focuses on PCB design, hardware engineering, and RF, GNSS, and antenna testing.
