The STORY
When Accolade started in 2002, the easy path was to import the core electronics and assemble them here. We chose the harder one. We decided that an Indian company could design and manufacture world-class vehicle electronics on its own soil, to its own standard, at a scale that could serve the country’s mobility and then reach beyond it..
Two decades later, that conviction has a physical address. A 40,000 square foot plant in Pune, running 24 production lines across three shifts, turning out up to 1,00,000 units a month. Over 1.2 million connected devices deployed and counting. Not assembled here. Built here, from the board up.
This is what it looks like when an automotive electronics manufacturer in India decides to own the whole chain.
Scale
The scale that lets Accolade take on an OEM programme and deliver it at volume, on time, to standard.
Manufacturing plant with scalable setup
ISO 8 cleanroom facility (100,000 PPM)
Production lines with end-to-end capacity, component to product
Units per month across three shifts
Professionals committed to customer-centric innovation
Connected devices deployed and running in the field
How We Build
The thing that makes Accolade different is not any single machine on the floor. It is that the whole process lives in one place, under one team, answerable to one standard.
Production and testing run on in-house electronics manufacturing services, with dedicated SMT lines built for smooth production and delivery assurance. When the line is yours, the quality is yours to guarantee, not something you hope a subcontractor got right.
Automated production and testing across the floor, so automotive component manufacturing happens with the consistency volume demands. Every unit built to the same spec as the one before it, and the one after.
A 20,000 square foot ISO 8 cleanroom rated to 100,000 PPM. For vehicle electronics manufacturing, the environment is not a detail. It is the difference between a board that lasts the life of the vehicle and one that fails in the field.
Robust end-of-line functional testing ensures full end-to-end traceability. Every unit can be traced back through its build. That is what an OEM's supplier audit is looking for, and it is what Accolade is built to pass.
QUALITY
An IATF certified electronics manufacturer does not get to treat quality as a department. It has to be the operating system of the whole plant. That is how Accolade runs.
The two certifications that matter most in automotive. IATF 16949 is the global automotive quality benchmark, and holding it is what lets Accolade sit in the supply chain of leading OEMs.
Every unit is functionally tested at end of line, with full traceability, before it leaves the floor.
A connected, data-driven plant floor, built for the visibility and control that modern automotive component manufacturing requires.
| Standard | Status |
|---|---|
| IATF 16949:2016 | Certified |
| ISO 9001:2015 | Certified |
| EOL Functional Testing | End-to-end traceability |
| Industry 4.0 | Compliant |
ENGINEERING MEETS THE PRODUCTION LINE
A lot of manufacturers build what someone else designed. Accolade designs and builds, and that changes everything about how the two talk to each other.
The 137-engineer R&D team sits upstream of the line, but never far from it. Hardware is designed for manufacturability from the first schematic, optimised for EMC, thermal performance, and reliability before a single board is ever produced. When engineering and manufacturing answer to the same company, a design flaw gets caught at the drawing stage, not on the production floor.
This is the quiet advantage of an integrated automotive electronics manufacturer in India: the people who design the product and the people who build it are on the same team, in the same city, chasing the same standard.

The India Advantage
Global mobility is looking for manufacturing partners beyond the usual few countries, and India is where that search is landing. Accolade’s asset-light infrastructure keeps costs competitive without compromising quality, while energy-efficient systems and planned initiatives like solar power and an STP keep the operation sustainable as it scales. A Pan-India footprint, backed by a 50+ member support team across 26+ AIS-140 empanelled states, means support follows the product everywhere it goes.
Made-in-India manufacturing is no longer a cost story. It is a capability story, and Accolade is writing it.
BUILT ON STANDARDS
Twenty-one disciplines, three basics, one standard: how every unit, every shipment, and every batch is held to account before it reaches an OEM.
Presence
Manufacturing does not end when the unit ships. A strategically established network of offices, production facilities, and regional supply-chain and after-sales support spans Pan India, ensuring rapid response wherever a fleet operates. A 50+ member team delivers round-the-clock assistance, online and offline, minimising downtime and maximising uptime for every deployment.
